Kevin McCall recently was a guest this past Monday, on a podcast “Back on Figg” about current events and hip hop. Being a guest, he was prompted with a number of questions about what he has going on currently in his career, and his life in general and the conflict he still with Chris Brown.
The ongoing issues started back in 2014-2016, when they worked on records such as, “Deuces” which was originally McCall’s track and “Strip” and “No BS”. From this it has been continuous that Kevin McCall claims he never received royalties for any of his work on the songs from Chris Brown. When prompted again about it, it came up during the discussion, where McCall claims and even shows he has an EBT card and is struggling now, while even tearing up, also due to his child support and estrangement from his kids and claims that $25,000 is still owed to him by Chris Brown.
Chris Brown clap backed with a post on his stories on Instagram, “Remember this: you can’t walk across a burnt bridge. And you know what’s funnier than a troll? A BROKE ONE!”. Even Young Thug weighed in, posting on Twitter in response to the claims from McCall against Chris Brown, “ Kevin McCall , hit me, I’ll give you the $25,000 need. Chris Brown a real one, he’ll give it to you, he be busy”. Clearly this will always be a rift, but the real question is if Kevin McCall should let it go and move on or if Chris Brown should indeed pay him?
