The controversy surrounding Stefon Diggs just escalated. The NFL star is now facing a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, who accuses him of assault and attempting to cover it up with a non-disclosure agreement.
The allegations
According to newly filed court documents, Hernandez claims the incident took place on June 7, 2024, when Diggs allegedly punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist. She says the blow left her with a concussion, which was diagnosed the same day.
The lawsuit further alleges that Diggs sent his personal assistant to Houston shortly after the incident to convince her to sign an NDA — an effort Hernandez describes as a deliberate attempt to silence her.
Hernandez is seeking unspecified damages for her physical pain, emotional distress, and medical expenses, asking the court for at least $250,000 and up to $1 million.
A messy legal back-and-forth
This latest case follows Diggs’ own February 2025 lawsuit against Hernandez and another woman, Brianna Mack, where he accused the pair of assault, trespass, emotional distress, conspiracy, and attempted extortion. That case remains ongoing, and both sides are now locked in a heated legal battle with serious accusations flying both ways.
Public reaction
The news immediately sparked intense debate on social media.
- Some fans voiced support for Mulan: “Good for her for finally speaking out.”
- Others questioned the timing: “She’s only suing now because his case is still open.”
So far, Stefon Diggs and his representatives have not issued a public statement regarding the new allegations.
