Offset is reportedly in hot water with the IRS and the state of Georgia over a massive tax bill exceeding $2.3 million. According to legal documents obtained by The Neighborhood Talk, the Set It Off rapper allegedly owes back taxes for multiple years — an issue that could further complicate an already turbulent chapter in his personal life.
Records show that the IRS filed two separate federal tax liens against Offset for unpaid taxes from 2022 and 2023, totaling more than $2 million. The documents detail one lien for roughly $1.57 million from 2022 and another for about $486,000 from 2023. On top of that, the Georgia Department of Revenue reportedly issued a separate state lien of $292,000 related to unpaid taxes from 2021. Combined, the debts amount to more than $2.3 million — a figure that could grow with penalties and interest if left unresolved.
So far, neither Offset nor his representatives have commented publicly on the matter. It remains unclear whether the former Migos star plans to dispute the filings or work out a payment arrangement with tax authorities.
The reported tax trouble comes amid Offset’s highly publicized split from Cardi B. The pair, who tied the knot in 2017 and share two children, have been making headlines in recent months as their divorce proceedings unfold. Despite attempts to reconcile in the past, reports suggest the couple is now finalizing the separation.
This latest revelation marks another setback in what’s been a challenging period for Offset, both personally and professionally. While no official court filings beyond the liens have been reported, fans are watching closely to see how the Atlanta rapper navigates this multimillion-dollar hurdle.
