Nicki Minaj Could Lose Her $20M Los Angeles Mansion Over $500K Unpaid Judgment

Nicki Minaj may soon be facing a major financial and legal headache. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper and her husband Kenneth Petty could lose their Los Angeles mansion over an unpaid $503,318 judgment tied to a 2021 lawsuit filed by German security guard Thomas Weidenmuller.

Weidenmuller’s suit stems from an alleged altercation in Frankfurt, Germany, where he claims Petty physically assaulted him during one of Nicki’s concerts — and that Nicki herself allegedly took part in the attack.

Reportedly, the couple failed to respond to the lawsuit, leading the court to issue a default judgment in Weidenmuller’s favor for $503,318.02. Since then, he has made multiple unsuccessful attempts to collect the amount owed.

Now, in a new motion, Weidenmuller is asking the court to enforce the judgment by selling Nicki Minaj’s Los Angeles home to satisfy the debt.

“The property’s current fair market value is appraised at $20 million, yielding approximately $6 million in equity beyond the lien and exemption,” the motion states. “That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment, plus accrued interest and enforcement costs.”

The filing continues, noting that selling the home would more than cover the debt:

“Here, there is no doubt that the sale of the dwelling would satisfy the entire judgment — with millions to spare.”

The motion also criticizes Nicki’s “intransigence” in failing to pay, despite her immense wealth and resources.

“Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment,” the motion reads.
“Minaj is a global music superstar, estimated to have a net worth between $150–190 million, and is reportedly the highest-paid female rap star in the world. There is little doubt she is capable of paying the judgment in full, yet she has refused to do so despite multiple written requests for payment and levies served upon several of her suspected creditors.”

As of now, the judge has not ruled on the motion.

This latest development comes amid a turbulent period for Nicki, who’s already been making headlines for a series of legal disputes and online controversies. Between music success, personal drama, and court battles, it appears the Queen of Rap’s plate is as full as ever — and this case could have serious financial implications if the court sides with the plaintiff.
