Lil Durk Wins 12 Million Dollar Lawsuit Amid Ongoing Murder For Hire Case

Rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, who is widely known for his music such as “All My Life”,”Laugh Now,Cry Later and the Voice”. He has been an artist since 2011 and has been for over 12 years. Lil Durk has been experiencing some difficulties in his personal life with the legal matters occurring.

            For first being arrested in October 2024, for a being charged with a murder hit on fellow rapper, Quando Rondo, which then in turn killed his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. They alleged that the killing hire was revenge for Lil Durk’s cousin, King Von, who was killed back in 2020. The charges against Lil Durk are as follows; conspiracy, using interstate facilities to commit murder and weapons charges. The rapper pled not guilty and is awaiting the trial.

            As of recently, he has been in a lawsuit with Exceed Talent Capital in December 6,2023. The company allows anyone to put money in for royalties of music and they claim they paid over $400,000 for the song “Bedtime”. However, they claim that Lil Durk had sold already the rights in a separate deal to Sony’s Alamo Records, which his label, Only the Family and former manager, Andrew Bonsu and willingly known, causing damages resulting in over $12 million dollars. It came to a decision to dismiss all charges. This is great news for the rapper who is still awaiting trial to start for is other case.
