Erica Mena and Safaree have not had the easiest relationship to deal with. From being married to having two kids to very public, painful break up. The two have been under the radar for much of their time together. Now, the two are back in the spotlight. After their divorce in 2021, even Safaree admitted that they should not have been married and they cannot reconcile. Now. Erica says that she has also had the burden of carrying the full weight of supporting the family.
Erica Mena has asked for half in child support for their children. In a statement she adds, “For 2½ years and counting – I’ve endured malicious filings, unnecessary legal attacks and intentional financial pressure, all while being the only consistent present parent for my two youngest children. The only one handling medical care, education, childcare and the everyday costs of raising two growing children, as I have since the day they were born.” Also saying over her victory, “Yesterday wasn’t about revenge,” Erica continued. “It was about receipts, facts and accountability.” Erica Mena continued to advocate for her rights as a parent and her children and what they deserve. She added. “After years of intentional hardship and financial burden placed on me, I finally stood up for the expenses I’ve carried alone🙌🏽 medical, childcare, education. While parenting full-time and filling in where effort, presence and responsibility are by choice repeatedly consistently absent,” . With help from her attorney Lisa Weber she has been made victorious.
