Lil Durk has come out to express how he feels about a moment in his life that was difficult. Lil Durk Accused Of Hiding & Destroying Apple Watch In Jail Amid Murder-For-Hire Case back in October 24,2024 against rapper Quando Rondo, in revenge for the killing of his friend King Von. It now has been almost a year and three months since in prison. His lawyer, Christy O’Connor says he has been in solitary confinement for four months. This all from seeing him have an apple watch which violates his privileges and is not allowed to have any device while in prison.
In the case filing it reads, “[Lil Durk] is confined to a very small jail cell, just large enough for a single bed, a toilet, and a sink, for 23 hours a day,” the filing reads. “He does not have access to commissary. He is permitted one phone call a month, and no in-person social visits.” They go on to cite the “well-documented” and “deleterious” effects on an inmate’s psychological well-being from being in solitary confinement for long stretches of time. It says that if he remains in confinement that it will affect him mentally and emotionally and he is being negatively affected by this. On his Instagram story he also shared this, “Crazy how you gotta wait until it’s dark out to see who really with you,”. Clearly showing how this whole thing has left him feeling lonely and no one is checking in on him. His legal team is concerned for his wellfare. His case is set to start in May.
