Jim Jones Goes Off On Tony Yayo And Says He Needs 50 Cent To Take Care Of Him

Jim Jones has reignited tensions in the rap world after going off on Tony Yayo during a recent episode of Artist 2 Artist with Memphis Bleek. The fiery exchange came after Yayo made comments suggesting that Jay-Z doesn’t do enough for his people, a statement that didn’t sit well with either Bleek or Jones.

During their conversation, Bleek defended his relationship with Jay-Z, responding directly to Yayo’s remarks.

“Nah, I don’t need Jay to go on tour,” Bleek said.

That’s when Jim Jones jumped in — and didn’t hold back.

“You look like you need to be taken care of,” Jones fired back. “You look like you need to go to the dentist, you look like you need to brush your teeth… You look like you need help. Tell your man 50 to send you an ounce or something. You might need two ounces.”

The clip quickly went viral across X and Instagram, sparking debate among fans about whether Jones went too far.

Fans React to Jim Jones’ Comments

Many defended Tony Yayo, arguing that his original statement was misinterpreted.

“Yayo is actually an incredibly stand-up dude and a gentleman. None of what is being said is even remotely close to true,” one user wrote.

Another added:

“The sad part was Yayo wasn’t even trying to be disrespectful to Bleek. He was simply saying that 50 tends to do more for him because they were actually friends. He didn’t say Jay-Z needed to do anything for Bleek.”

Still, others felt that Jones’ response was typical Capo energy — unfiltered, unapologetic, and on-brand.

Jim Jones’ Year of Feuds

Jim Jones has been no stranger to controversy this year. He’s found himself caught in multiple disputes, including reigniting old tension with Max B. On his podcast Let’s Rap About It, Jones recently addressed whether reconciliation was possible.

“I may forgive, I don’t forget,” he said. “And even if I forgive, I’m not here to make anybody feel comfortable… I’m not actively pursuing nothing but this money.”

He’s also been trading shots with his former Dipset partner Cam’ron, after Cam invited 50 Cent onto his YouTube show Talk With Flee. During that interview, 50 and Cam revisited Jones’ 2007 performance with G-Unit, reigniting long-standing tension.

With his latest comments, Jones has once again found himself at the center of online chatter — proving that in hip-hop, one quote can spark a firestorm faster than a diss track.
