As leaked jail calls continue to paint Young Thug’s disdain for Gunna, a resurfaced clip shows the College Park rapper taking a much different approach: positivity.
The video, recorded during a recent fan workout session, has gone viral as Gunna encourages resilience and staying focused despite criticism.
“It is what it is. I can’t sit in that space, though. I got more sht to do. So, it’s like staying busy is going to keep me from worrying about sht I can’t change,” he told supporters at the gym.
“I can’t change how you feel or if you mad… I ain’t trying to because you probably don’t have a good reason on why you hating. I’m not saying don’t acknowledge it but just don’t sit in it.”
The message lands at a time when Thug’s leaked calls have stirred fresh controversy — from allegations of him sabotaging Gunna’s rollouts to admitting he allegedly spent $50,000 on bots to push his 2022 album DS4EVER past The Weeknd and Morgan Wallen.
Despite the tension, Gunna has managed to thrive. Since taking an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case, he’s released three albums (A Gift & A Curse, One of Wun, The Last Wun), transformed his physique, and even hosted a 5K run in New York City to promote health and community.
While Thug continues to publicly distance himself from him, Gunna’s message is clear: focus on what you can control and keep moving forward.
