A fan who went viral over the weekend for twerking on Chris Brown during a club appearance has spoken out — and she says the moment wasn’t as random as it looked.
In a video posted to social media, the woman explained that she’s actually known Chris Brown for years and has worked with him professionally in the past.
“Okay, so the crazy part is I’ve known Chris for years now, but that’s the first time we interacted in that way,” she said. “I’ve worked for him before. I’ve casted for him before. Just having fun at the club.”
She added that Brown was “dancing with everybody” that night, brushing off the clip’s viral attention as nothing more than harmless fun.
The video, which quickly spread across LiveBitez and other entertainment pages, shows the fan dancing closely on Chris during an after-party stop on his “Breezy Bowl XX” tour. The moment lit up social media, with mixed reactions in the comments.
“That’s definitely his type. What are we supposed to do with this information?” one fan joked.
Another wrote, “People rather have a moment than a real lifetime of substance.”
The now-viral clip was taken during one of the European tour after-parties, as Chris continues his global run across Europe and North America. The “Breezy Bowl XX” tour — featuring supporting acts Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, and Jhené Aiko — kicked off in Amsterdam in June and has hit major cities including Denver, Atlanta, Houston, and Boston.
Chris is next set to perform in Raleigh on Tuesday night, though his upcoming Memphis show, originally scheduled for October 18, was canceled due to ongoing venue renovations. The Oak View Group confirmed via USA Today:
“Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX performance in Memphis on Saturday, October 18 has been canceled. While the renovations at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium continue as planned, it has become clear they will also prevent the show from delivering on the exceptional production experience for fans.”
Refunds are being processed through Ticketmaster.
As for the viral moment, Chris Brown hasn’t publicly commented — but the fan says there’s no bad blood and no deeper story behind it. Just “fun at the club” that got caught on camera and, like most things involving Chris, blew up the internet overnight.
