Drake happened to do something many were unaware of with Saweetie. Apparently, Drake had bought the custom Bentley Continental GT that was a Christmas present for Saweetie by Quavo in 2020. On a recent podcast, he spoke about why he did it. The car had a license plate, that read “ICYY GRRL” that showed her first hit single and at the time showed their union for one another publicly. However, in March 2021 they broke up and when he was reselling the car and at a dealership for $280,000.
When Drake brought the car after seeing it and having in Quavo in mind. That is when Drake got the idea to buy it back for his friend. Drake commented while on BenDaDonnn, he said ““I saw it for sale and I’m like ‘Yo, Imma buy that back for my dog,”. He surprised Quavo parking it outside, and made a tumultuous moment one of humor and friendship. Instead of remembering, it as a forgotten gift it now is one that always will be a kind stint that Drake did for Quavo.
