DJ Akademiks is back stirring the pot — this time taking aim at Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson after the rapper cooked a full Thanksgiving meal for Klay and his family.
A video went viral last week showing Megan preparing a Southern-style feast: turkey, dressing (not stuffing, as she proudly clarified), macaroni, and more. Speaking softly in the clip, she joked that Klay was still “in a food coma” after the family dinner.
“I was nervous ‘cause I was really finna cook for my man and his whole family,” Megan admitted. “I gotta show them I really love they son!”
But Akademiks, never one to miss a trolling opportunity, reposted the clip and labeled Klay’s Thanksgiving plate as “bench player nutrients.”
Fans were quick to clap back at him, with many defending Megan’s effort and mocking Ak instead. One user joked, “You couldn’t even make it to a bench of any kind.” Another added, “I’m starting to like Megan more this year, idk why.”
Megan & Klay’s Relationship Continues to Shine
Despite the chatter, Megan and Klay remain one of the most talked-about new couples in entertainment and sports.
They went public this summer and made their red carpet debut at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in July. Since then, the two have been inseparable — sharing dates, photos, and major life moments together.
Most recently, Klay posted a photo dump on Instagram where he revealed he named his boat the “S.S. Stallion” in Megan’s honor. “West coastin’,” he captioned the post.
While Akademiks tried to turn Thanksgiving into a roast session, fans seemed far more interested in how happy (and fed) Klay looked — especially after dropping six three-pointers in the Mavericks’ win over the Clippers the night before.
