Hot 97 has been going through some changes and with the whole team leaving the “Ebro in the Morning” show which included Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg. Now they have picked a new host for the show and it is Kid Mero. The new morning radio show will be called, “Hot 97 Mornings with Mero” and will be as the other show Monday through Friday, 6am to 10am. He commented on a Hot 97 post about the news, saying “Whooo, haha, Mornings with Mero, y’all,”.
The Kid Mero whose real name is Joel Armogasto Martinez and is very known throughout pop culture. He originally started out with a show called, “Desus Vs. Mero” that came out in 2013. He has the style of humor and relatability to many audiences that they will enjoy and he even said, ” “the most consistent voice in your life.” Mero was welcomed by many including Funk Master Flex, Carmelo Anthony and even Ebro Darden commenting on the new development and showing an overwhelmingly joyous arrival for him being the new host for the morning show.
