The release of P. Diddy’s show, ” Sean Combs:The Reckoning”, was released today and shed light on a lot of inner part of his life. The four part series covered the start of his lucratve career, to his trial and what led to him being indicted on the charges and the ripple effect it caused in his life. P. Diddy had many revelations of his life, and revealed a lot of intimated details that nobody had ever seen or heard of. The documentary series delved deeply into these parts of his life. A chance to see what exactly had taken place and testimony from his inner circle and to see the domino effect of what certain events could have led to the outcome of this and his life, also to the court case.
For many, as they watched the reactions were a mixed bag. Many showed disdain and were actually surprised about things it showcased and illuminated on certain parts about his life that had never been mentioned before. It supported a precedent about how chaotic and sadistic the music mogul could be. However, many have an opinion on 50 Cent creating this series that is a clear attack on P. Diddy and supports what is happening to him. Also P. Diddy’s legal team issued a statement, stating ” Netflix’s so-called ‘documentary’ is a shameful hit piece. Today’s GMA teaser confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorized for release. It is equally staggering that Netflix handed creative control to Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson — a longtime adversary with a personal vendetta who has spent too much time slandering Mr. Combs.Beyond the legal issues, this is a personal breach of trust. Mr. Combs has long respected Ted Sarandos and admired the legacy of [Sarandos’ late father-in-law] Clarence Avant.” Showing what is to come of if a trial is on the way.
