Lil Meech is fighting back through his legal team after Celina Powell made explosive claims about their alleged relationship during a recent appearance on the We In Miami Podcast.
Rumors about the BMF actor and the social media personality have circulated for months, but things escalated when Powell alleged that she and Meech were romantically involved — even sharing audio that she claimed was him apologizing.
“I’m begging you, please delete this stuff,” Meech is heard saying in the clip. “This is my reputation, bro. I apologize for saying what I said to you. Celina, I said that to get the post deleted, Celina. That’s not how I tried to make you seem. I apologize for that.”
Shortly after the podcast episode went live, Meech’s attorney sent an official cease-and-desist letter to the show’s producers, demanding they issue a correction for what they call “knowingly false and defamatory statements.”
Lil Meech’s Legal Team Responds
According to the letter, obtained by the podcast and later shared on its Instagram page, Meech’s legal representatives accused Powell of fabricating the entire story and misleading the public.
“We are writing regarding your recent episode of the We In Miami Podcast featuring Celina Powell, during which she made knowingly false, defamatory, and malicious statements about the Claimant,” the letter states.
“Specifically, Ms. Powell falsely claimed an ongoing romantic relationship with the Claimant and referenced past interactions that are entirely untrue.”
The letter continues, outlining the serious professional damage Powell’s allegations have allegedly caused:
“These statements were made with actual malice and reckless disregard for the truth and have caused and continue to cause substantial reputational harm, distress, and damage to Lil Meech’s professional relationships, including current and prospective endorsement and business opportunities.”
The attorney concludes firmly:
“To be absolutely clear, the Claimant has never engaged in a romantic or intimate relationship with Ms. Powell. The representations made on your platform are entirely false, defamatory, and misleading.”
Celina Powell Has Yet to Respond
As of now, Celina Powell has not publicly responded to the letter or the allegations that she fabricated her claims. The We In Miami Podcast has also not issued a retraction or clarification, though the controversy continues to make waves across social media.
This latest drama adds to the long list of viral feuds and legal threats surrounding Powell, who’s previously made claims about other high-profile entertainers.
For Lil Meech, whose star continues to rise through his role on BMF and growing entertainment ventures, the legal response signals a clear effort to protect his image and reputation amid the ongoing gossip storm.
