Summer Walker has made a name for herself as an artist and on a recent interview, she was asked a personal question referring an old lover she dealt with. Summer Walker and Lil Meech, Dmetrius Flenory Jr., who is most known for his role on the hit show, “BMF” and is also an artist too. The two dated from April to August 2023. Their relationship came to scandal after there was a video showing on a ring doorbell of Lil Meech entering a woman’s apartment and leaving seventeen minutes later leaving, even leading it to go viral and a meme created.
Claiming that he was leaving his “cousin’s“ apartment after helping with her groceries. Summer Walker did not believe these claims and the relationship ended. During the Complex interview, she was asked about the public scene and she commented that it was “ignorant’ and had this to say regarding if it was behind her. Summer Walker responded, “I literally don’t even have to say anything on that” and “Because his life is terrible now, so.. yeah”. Showing that she is truly put that behind her and noting the current state of his life.
Summer Walker appropriately named her new album, “Finally Over It” set to arrive on November 14, as she states that she is indeed past all the drama from before and focused on herself.
