According to an alleged leaked jail call between Thug and 21 Savage — shared online by outlets like Kurrco — Thugger explained what really bothered him about Gunna’s plea deal.
Why Thug Fell Out With Gunna
Thug reportedly said his issue centers on Gunna’s admission that YSL is a gang and that he knew people who committed crimes in furtherance of it. Thug claims this isn’t true, arguing that Gunna only really knew himself, Yak Gotti, and Duke — none of whom committed crimes.
According to Thug, Gunna’s statement is what turned the situation into a full-blown RICO case.
Thug also accused Gunna of taking the plea “for a woman and for money,” further souring their relationship.

During the call, 21 Savage defended Gunna, pointing out that his statement about guns and drugs found in a shared car was simply him saying they weren’t his.
