The saga between Young Thug and GloRilla took a lighter turn this week after the Memphis rapper clapped back at his jail call diss with humor — and Thug responded with support.
In one of the many leaked jail calls circulating online, Thugger trashed Glo’s appearance, calling her unattractive and mocking her wig, head, and mouth. He even dismissed comparisons to Rihanna, saying she looked more like a “Brianna.”
After the audio went public, Glo fired back on X, writing:
“Mind you dis da same n**a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo.”*
Thug later apologized, tweeting:
“First of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all… I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin.”
Now, Glo seems to be poking fun at the entire situation. She recently shared a set of glam photos on Instagram with the caption: “Brianna 😘” — a nod to Thug’s insult. In a surprising twist, Young Thug slid into the comments with two heart emojis, showing love after her playful response.
This isn’t the only apology Thug has made in recent days. He also addressed cheating rumors involving his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist, writing on Twitter:
“My baby I was wrong and I’m sorry for what I put u through. U deserved better from me. Thank you for everything and I will do anything to make this work.”
For now, it seems GloRilla is turning negativity into confidence — and Young Thug is trying to make amends.
