YNW Melly has been caught in 4K with a mystery woman on the phone. While on facetime and watching a Houston Rockets game, from prison where he is awaiting trial for witness tampering. All this from a woman who attended the actual basketball game at the arena. When other fans in the crowd recognized this, they recorded and were delighted to see him smiling. He was arrested back in February 2019, and is still awaiting trial.
He is said to have two counts of premeditated murder of the two members, fellow YNW members YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. It was suppose to be a drive by purposely but it did not happen that way. When in July 2023, it was a mistrial due to not having a unanimous decision. The next one is said to happen January 2027 and will be exactly eight years since being arrested. As well, it raised of what is allowed of artists while in jail. That they were able to use a phone and have Facetime, when it is not normally allowed.
