Back in 1999, an artist emerged only being twelve years old and that was “Sammie”. Sammie, whose real name is Sammie Lee Bush Jr. He had a hit, “ I Like It” that was his first hit song and then going on to release a full album a year later. He also was featured on Soulja Boy’s song, “Kiss Me through the Phone”.
The kid sensation is coming back into the spotlight and not in the best light. Recently he was arrested on October 19, for charges that included batter in family violence and cruelty to children in the third degree. He also is a fugitive in the state of Georgia, where he lives for a domestic dispute involving his partner. Sammie was held in Henry County Jail and released with a bond of $1,050 cash or property bond for the charges and he has been released on bond.
Since his release, he responded to the incident first posting on his Instagram story writing, “I’m gonna let God have his say, and the courts have their say, and the truth shall set you free”. He recently has reposted many of friend and fans reaching out support and care for him in this tough time. As well, he has also commented on a shade room post, saying “I pray the apologies are as loud as the lies and offenses”. Sammie also posted a story, pictured with daughters sharing a caring moment of eating and sharing a handshake with his daughters.
