Offset is showing the world that he won’t be broken down by negativity — even as his highly publicized divorce from Cardi B continues to make headlines.
The Migos rapper hopped on a recent livestream, where he directly addressed critics who have been picking apart his personal life since the split. In a clip circulating online via Live Bitez, Offset brushed off the hate, flaunted his wealth, and teased new music on the way.
“If you ever want to see me down you gon’ die, cause we ain’t never down,” Offset confidently declared.
Offset’s Comments Come Amid Cardi B’s Divorce Updates
Offset’s fiery remarks arrive just days after Cardi B gave her own update on their divorce during an interview on The Breakfast Club.
“It’s not peaceful at all,” Cardi admitted. “I can’t even talk about it because it’s a court thing, but it is not peaceful.”
During another sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Cardi went further, expressing her frustrations with Offset’s alleged lack of growth.
“I just wish he was a better person, but it is what it is. Be a better person for your kids,” she explained, referencing their three children.
When asked about the chances of successful co-parenting, Cardi didn’t mince words:
“I think not right now. I don’t really have hate in my heart anymore. I think he has some type of hate in his heart. I don’t know how long that’s gonna take. We should be able to celebrate [our kids] … But it’s not about the kids. One thing I’m learning is that it’s not about the kids.”
Cardi B Moves Forward With New Album & Relationship
The Bronx superstar is simultaneously celebrating the release of her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, which features tracks like “Man Of Your Word” and “Outside” where she reflects on her relationship struggles and eventual split from Offset.
Cardi is also expecting her fourth child, this time with her new boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs. But Diggs, too, has been at the center of controversy, facing both family drama and a high-profile paternity dispute.
What’s Next for Offset?
Despite the turmoil, Offset appears laser-focused on music and maintaining his superstar status. His latest livestream clapback proved one thing: while the divorce is messy, he’s determined to remind the world that he’s still on top.
