Nicki Minaj went on a fiery Twitter rampage after comedian Trevor Noah took aim at her during the Grammy Awards broadcast, poking fun at her recent political alignment with Donald Trump.
While hosting the ceremony, Noah joked that Nicki was absent because she was “still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues.” He then launched into a mock impression of Trump, claiming he and Nicki were debating who has the “bigger a**,” drawing loud laughter from the audience.
Nicki, however, was not amused.
Shortly after the joke aired, the rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) and fired back with a shocking accusation aimed at Noah. She alleged that “everyone in the industry” knows he has a secret boyfriend and suggested he is hiding his sexuality. She also posted old photos of Jay-Z with Aaliyah and Beyoncé, implying inappropriate behavior — without providing any evidence.
From there, Nicki’s posts spiraled further. She began accusing unnamed celebrities of participating in satanic cult rituals, claiming babies were being harmed as part of blood sacrifices. She also said she was being silenced for trying to expose abuse and corruption in the industry.
The tweets quickly went viral, with fans and critics alike reacting to what many described as another unhinged meltdown from the rapper. Some defended Nicki, arguing she was being targeted unfairly for her political views, while others said Trevor Noah’s joke didn’t justify the extreme response.
Noah isn’t the only late-night host who’s questioned Nicki’s politics. Jimmy Kimmel recently joked that her relationship with Trump was “transactional,” suggesting she gets access while Trump gets a famous supporter.
As of now, Trevor Noah has not responded to Nicki’s accusations. But the moment has once again placed the rapper at the center of controversy — not for music, but for another chaotic and deeply divisive social media outburst.
