Gunna and Offset are officially teaming up for a joint project. The Atlanta stars, who recently traded features on their 2025 solo albums, confirmed that a collaboration album is coming — and fans won’t have to wait too long.
During his Apple Music Live celebration in Los Angeles on Monday night (Sept. 22), Gunna sat down with Ebro Darden and confirmed the rumors.
“Definitely. Yes, it’s in the works,” Gunna said when asked about the collab. “But I, like, we spacing it out. You know, he dropped his album, I dropped my album. I was on his, he was on mine. And I feel like that was sprinkles and breadcrumbs for us to give you that meal soon.”
Building Toward a Joint Album
Speculation about a Gunna-Offset project began last year, when Offset previewed unreleased tracks featuring the duo on Instagram Live. In February, Set fueled the fire further by hinting at the project during an X interaction with a fan.
The pair has already given fans plenty of collaborations to hold them over. In June, they performed together at Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash at State Farm Arena. They also appeared on each other’s 2025 solo albums: Offset featured on The Last Wun’s “At My Purest,” while Gunna joined him on Kiari’s “Different Species.”
Before that, their chemistry shined on tracks like “Prada Dem,” “Style Rare,” “Beat the Case,” and “Wild Wild West.”
Gunna & Offset: Atlanta Heavyweights
Both rappers are enjoying strong solo runs. Gunna’s The Last Wun, his sixth solo LP, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 80,000 total album-equivalent units. Offset’s Kiari also performed well earlier this year, praised for its versatility and features.
Now, with a joint album confirmed, anticipation is running high. Fans are already debating whether it will lean more toward Gunna’s melodic trap sound, Offset’s high-energy flows, or a balance of both.
No release date has been set yet, but Gunna’s confirmation makes one thing clear: the Atlanta duo is ready to deliver a full-length project that could be one of hip hop’s biggest moments of 2026.
