The streamer Adin Ross and the gambling website Stake, for illegal gambling promotions. It has come along when Drake announced the release of his new album, “Iceman”. It was stated that they were tipping to each other on site. Also used for upping Drake’s sales for his music.
In the lawsuit, it states, “In addition, through Stake’s Tipping function, Defendants have financed their combined artificial streaming (“botting”) to create fraudulent streams of Drake’s music; fabricate popularity; disparage competitors and music label executives; distort recommendation algorithms; and distribute financing for all of the foregoing, while concealing the flow of funds,”. To also use as “giveaways” as a transfer through the site. Also showing a $100k tip and a another “Drizzmas Giveaway”. Also a $220K car also as a gift, that is a part of the lawsuit and seen as a gift. It is now in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and is in damages and seeking $5 million dollars.
