Drake has recently come under the scope for a shocking resurfaced rumor. Back in 2015, on a track from Meek Mill, “Wanna Know” when there was a first reference to the incident. The supposed story is that TI’s friend, Terrance Beasley also known as “Cap” urinated on Drake during a Takers’ movie premiere. It also was brought back up when a song that TI did, “We did it Big” came out in 2020. Recently, Drake took to defending himself about the alleged rumor after years of silence.
Drake took to the socials to finally clear his name of these lies that have been going on for years. On Instagram, Drake had this to say, “Nuh man never pissed on me in life that story was for the net cause mans don’t have sh*t to say to get their interviews watched [laughing emoji]”. However, TI still has made it clear that he thinks different and still mentioning about the story. Yet, there still is no proof of this happening and it seems it has been more of these rumors glorified through lyrics i songs by major rap artists such as TI and Meek Mill. TI also commented on the rumor concerning Drake, during an interview with Apple Music” I didn’t want it to be weaponized against anybody. I was pissed off at my partner when it happened. The wildest sh*t I’ve ever seen before in my f*cking life. You know what I’m saying? But that sh*t, I ain’t had no malicious intent.” It is clear that while he had no hidden agenda with speaking about the incident it still created tension and negative inuendos for Drake, that he has now chosen to finally comment and on and put to rest, as their is no truth behind any of the details.
