Bad Bunny continues to rise as a powerhouse artist and truly making a legacy for himself. However, it seems he is in a bit of trouble now with someone else trying to get him in trouble. LP’s one-year anniversary on Monday (January 5), Tainaly Y. Serrano Rivera is suing Bad Bunny for $16 million for having used her vocals on two of his tracks without permission.
It was the one year anniversary of the album and the irony of a lawsuit occurring. It also includes his label, Rimas and his producer Roberto “La Paciencia” Rosado. Tainaly says when her and Roberto were studying at the Arecibo’s Inter American University’s theater program. When she recorded the line” Mira Puneta No Me Quitan El Perreo ( Look,Damn It! Don’t take away the perreo!) She claims that through using her phrases they have made a profit and did not tell her or show they were going to use her phrasing for his music.
This was not his first time running into this type of lawsuit when it happened with ex girlfriend Carliz De La Cruz Hernández in a similar lawsuit from 2023.She states her line of “Bad Bunny, Baby” was used without her knowledge.A decision is still to be made concerning it.
