Chris Paul had received news from his separation from the clippers on December 3, where they announced that he was separating from the team. From a trade that was done, it was not going too well. It showed that he was just as shocked to hear about it when they had sent him home. Even making a post to tell others about it, but recently he wrote about how it has given time to reflect on it. In an interview, he said “at peace with everything.”
Chris expressed that he was hopeful for what would be his next part in his career. He commented, “More than anything, I’m excited about being around and getting a chance to play a small role in whatever anything looks like next”. The resolve came after a meeting was held between the team and Lawrence Frank after showing their continued decline in the games, one of the lowest and second worst record of the career in the Clippers. So him departing with the team, He claims it has made more time in his personal life for his family and kids and he states, “Stuff’s been a little crazy in the past few days — to say the least. But honestly, I’m home. My daughter had tryouts yesterday. My nephew had a basketball game. My son has a game coming up on the 12th. I have never seen my son play a game in person, Not a middle school game, not a high school game.” So it shows that he is taking this to have more quality time and to be there for them. Ending it with showing his gratitude for the game and how happy he has been.
