Jabari Henley, nicknamed “Baby Uiie” was murdered in South Los Angeles last Friday night. Reports claim that Jabari walked up to a parked car outside a smoke shop and then was shot many times. On the scene, even given life saving medical care, which could not save the victim. There are currently no leads on the murderer, who left the scene.
Jabari is the son of now incarcerated Rollin 60s crip leader, Eugene “Big U’ Henley Jr. and who also is known for being a music manager of artists like Kurupt, and was for Nipsey Hussle. He also is very notable in the music industry, as Wiz Khalifa referred to him as “rap’s godfather”. During March 2025, he was charged with forty three counts of charges of human trafficking, racketeering, fraud and extortion. He is currently serving time in Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown L.A. He was denied bail due to being a possible threat to his community. Many suspect his son, Jabari’s death is gang affiliated but there is no concrete proof. We send condolences during this very difficult time.
