Nicki Minaj is back in controversy after firing off a series of explosive posts aimed at Gucci Mane and his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, following their recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.
During the interview, the couple discussed their marriage, Gucci’s new memoir Episodes, and his struggles with schizophrenia — including how Keyshia helps him manage his mental health. But shortly after the clip began circulating online, Nicki unleashed a fiery tirade on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Keyshia of trying to copy her and control her husband.
“Gucci wife has been trying to be me for years. Been dying for the spotlight for years,” Minaj began. “She’s there to keep Gucci sedated. Gucci hates Debra Antney. They don’t want Deb around me. She’s around me now.”
She didn’t stop there — Nicki then called out The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne tha God, as well as Jay-Z, accusing them of being part of a wider effort to discredit her.
“Charlamane the fraud (Jay-Z friend & business associate) using iHeartRadio for these disgusting ploys against innocent families. He was around Wendy [Williams] b4 her life went to hell. The buck stops here baby. Bookmark this tweet.”
Nicki Minaj Issues a Warning
After airing her grievances, Nicki doubled down, issuing a warning to her critics and claiming she’s been unfairly targeted in recent months.
“Y’all really do not understand who I really am. Bring it 🙂 Let’s play. Y’all wanted attention? Let’s do it,” she tweeted.
She then called out the LAPD and her label, Republic Records, demanding accountability after her repeated claims that her home was “swatted” multiple times while her young son was inside.
“LAPD, where’s the evidence of my home being swatted with a toddler inside 4 times? Guns drawn. Republic Records, stand up for me. Any f*cking day now. You’ll regret it.”
Keyshia Ka’oir’s Viral Interview
Nicki’s rant came just hours after Keyshia Ka’oir’s Breakfast Club comments went viral. During the sit-down, Keyshia opened up about Gucci’s mental health, revealing her method of helping him manage his condition.
“I have a system,” she explained. “I take his apps off his phone. First thing I do is delete Instagram. I delete everything. Even if I gotta change his password, I’m changing it because I don’t need the public to know he’s having an episode.”
She continued, “You realize you haven’t known about any other episodes since September 13. That’s because I control that. I control everything at home. And now, before the episodes come, I catch it. So that’s why he hasn’t had another one.”
Her comments were largely met with praise online, with fans applauding her for standing by Gucci through his challenges. But for Nicki, it appears the conversation struck a nerve.
More Feuds on the Horizon
This outburst is just the latest in a growing list of public spats involving Nicki Minaj. In recent weeks, she’s also traded shots with Cardi B, Jay-Z, and even Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, all while teasing (and threatening to cancel) her upcoming album NM6.
As of now, neither Gucci Mane nor Keyshia Ka’oir has responded publicly to Nicki’s comments.
