50 Cent Teases Tony Yayo For Taking So Long To Respond To Jim Jones

50 Cent is keeping things light — at least for now. The rap mogul took to social media on Monday to poke fun at his longtime G-Unit brother, Tony Yayo, after Jim Jones took shots at him during a recent interview with Memphis Bleek on Artist 2 Artist.

In the clip, 50 is seen sitting beside Yayo on a private jet, pretending to be frustrated that his friend hasn’t fired back yet. “I been doing some soul searching,” 50 says with a smirk. “And, I think I want out the group, okay? He just wears G-Unit on his hat. Taking too long to respond to Jimmy. Put it in the comments section.”

Yayo laughs it off, brushing off the drama with his own explanation. “People talk about me every day. Why? Because I’m on a jet right now,” he says. “I’m in the algorithm. So what you gotta do is take a shot at me. You do the most numbers, they’re gonna talk about you.”

When No Jumper reposted the video on Instagram, fans flooded the comments with jokes and praise. “Yayo in a better position than both of them anyways,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Yayo just wanna link up, he don’t wanna talk on this internet.”

The back-and-forth began after Jim Jones shaded Yayo in his Artist 2 Artist sit-down. “You look like you need to be taken care of,” Jones said. “You look like you need to go to the dentist, you look like you need to brush your teeth… Tell your man 50 to send you an ounce or something. You might need two ounces.” His shots came in response to Yayo’s earlier comments suggesting Jay-Z doesn’t do enough for his people.

While it’s clear that 50 Cent’s tone was joking, his video keeps the long-running G-Unit camaraderie — and rap rivalry — alive. As for Jim Jones, he’s no stranger to feuds either, with recent tension involving Max B, Cam’ron, and even 50 himself.
