Young Buck was charged with possession of a weapon in Tennessee. He pleaded guilty to the charge in court today for having it with him and had an eight year prison sentence. However, After the court knocked of thirty percent of it, he will only have 2.4 years in community corrections to serve instead of the prison time. He will serve it through community service programs, probation that will have oversight and as well other activities given by the court. The case has been ongoing for six years and even having a month of being jail for violation of probations rights, and to have a decision is a relief.
Young Buck’s troubles come after he had a domestic charge from fighting with his girlfriend. The charges included charges of domestic assault, vandalism over $10,000, and possession of a weapon by a person with a felony conviction and the gun charge is the one he is currently serving his sentence for. It all started after a fight he had with his girlfriend and where she shot at him as well. After receiving the terms of his sentencing it was a better outcome than expected and many of his fans are also pleased with it.
