Wiz Khalifa is in jeopardy of being in trouble with the law overseas. He was fined for smoking controlled substance on the stage, while on stage at “Beach,Please” festival this past summer. On October 16, he was indicted for doing that again. Romania prohibits the use of marijuana throughout the country and if he is found guilty he is going spend up to three months to two years. They originally wanted him to only have to pay a fine, but an appeal was done for the case by Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism stopping this.
They found that an actual arrest and a sentence is the proper action. Wiz Khalifa was charged under law, 143 for unlawful possession of dangerous drugs for personal use. It is the final decision on the case and to what is to happen in the near future. The actual case was from back 2024 and he was charged for the possession. There is no law or cover to help artists. It looks like the final call of the case was to sentence him for the crime. Wiz Khalifa could have a sentence of up to nine months.
