Stefon Diggs Fights Back in Court After Influencer Accuses Him of Drugging & Plotting a Hit

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is firing back in a major way — taking a social media personality to court after he accused Diggs of drugging him, sexually assaulting him, and even orchestrating a murder plot to keep supposed “secrets” hidden.

According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, Diggs is suing influencer Christopher Blake Griffith for defamation, claiming every accusation made against him online is completely false and intentionally fabricated for clout.

The Allegations That Sparked the Lawsuit

Diggs says the drama stems from a charity basketball event in Washington, D.C., in May 2023. After the game, he hung out with Griffith and several other influencers, went to a club, and later invited the group back to his Rockville, Maryland home.

Diggs claims the night was uneventful: he eventually went to bed, and his assistant asked Griffith to leave. End of story — or so he thought.

More than two years later, in the summer of 2025, Griffith went online and told his followers a drastically different, graphic, and disturbing version of events.

According to the lawsuit, Griffith alleged that Diggs:

  • Drugged him
  • Sexually assaulted him
  • Planned a violent attack days later to silence him
  • Attempted to hide gay or bisexual “secrets”

Diggs says none of it is true — and that Griffith knowingly spread lies to gain attention, sympathy, and social media fame.

Impact on Diggs’ Reputation

Diggs argues that Griffith wasn’t just posting for views — he deliberately tagged the NFL, the New England Patriots, and even Diggs’ sponsor Uggs to maximize the damage.

The lawsuit claims Diggs suffered serious reputational harm, emotional stress, and potential financial loss, and he is now seeking damages and attorney’s fees.

Though the exact amount is not listed, the filing makes clear the harm was substantial.

Griffith Responds Through His Attorney

Christopher Blake Griffith is standing by his story — at least publicly. His attorney, Jake Lebowitz, issued a statement to TMZ:

“Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”

With both sides firmly dug in, this legal battle is shaping up to be one of the most high-profile and contentious defamation cases involving an active NFL player.

What’s Next?

As of now, no criminal charges have been filed. Diggs’ lawsuit focuses solely on defamation, alleging Griffith’s claims were fabricated with malicious intent.

Fans, analysts, and legal experts are watching closely, predicting a drawn-out, explosive courtroom showdown that could have major implications for celebrity defamation cases in the social media age.
