Sean “Diddy” Combs Files A New Appeal

Sean Combs, or better known as P. Diddy was recently charged and officially given his sentence on October 3. The public learned he would be serving his four year and two month decision that he’d be serving in federal prison. Now a new action has taken place on behalf of him and his legal team.

They are attempting to essentially to make sure the law is fair and just all done in a timely manner. P. Diddy’s attorney, Alexandra Shapiro filed with U.S. Court of Appeals in the second circuit and essentially wanting a faster decision so he can start serving the sentence sooner rather than later and also to verify if it is the correct sentencing. The proposed timeline they are looking at is as follows:

  • December 23, 2025: Appellant’s Opening Brief and Appendix
  • February 20, 2026: Appellee’s Opposition Brief
  • March 13, 2026: Appellant’s Reply Brief
  • April 2026: Oral arguments before the Second Circuit

The appeal could possibly pass and only help P. Diddy in his case and be able to speed up the process and to know what knew outcome and the final decision could be. For now, he remains in custody until it is decided.
