After his son, Jabari Henley, also known as “Baby Uiie” who was murdered on October 31st, after he was shot outside a convenience store. There have been no updates or leads in the case. It came as a huge blow to Big U, whose real name is Eugene Henley Jr. who is currently serving a sentence for charged with forty three counts of charges of human trafficking, racketeering, fraud and extortion. He is currently serving time in Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown L.A.

After trying to get an early release to be able to attend his son’s funeral. It was said that he was too much of a risk to the world. It comes as prosecutors stand by that he is too much of a hazard for those around him. They also commented, “Ultimately, [Big U’s] release–– for any amount of time–– creates far too great a risk to justice in this case and to human life,” the filing states. “Defendant should remain detained for the safety of the community and the victims and witnesses to his crimes.” It only reinstates what was already decided on and continues to be the overall decision of the request. With also adding other events that Big U has been invovled in and of his criminal actions and what he was other atrocities he himself has done, which does not add to the case of helping him and it was denied.
