Patrick Beverly is a professional basketball player playing on a number of professional teams such as Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks. Lastly, playing in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He is also known for co hosting a podcast, “Pat Bev Podcast” on barstool, which came under scrutiny when he made harsh comments about Klay Thompson’s hard times during his switch, and rude remarks blaming his partner, Megan the Stallion.
Now, Patrick Beverly has come under fire for an arrest that happened on November 14. It is said that he choked and punched his fifteen year old sister, who left the house without permission to see her boyfriend. In the report, it is said that Patrick Beverly has felony assault of family violence and slamming her on the ground and punched her in the eye. Also says on the report, “[Beverley’s sister] stated Beverley grabbed her by her neck with both hands, and picked her up off the ground, by having her feet come up from the floor. [Beverley’s Sister] stated that Patrick Beverley squeezed her neck, causing her to feel pain. [She] felt as she was losing oxygen and not able to breathe.” Patrick Beverly’s sister also states he threatened her by saying, “made a statement to her during the assault, to the extent that he will be the family relative to kill her.” He was booked in the For Bend County Jail in Texas and was released on bail of $40,000. His attorney, Letitia Quinones-Hollins claims his innocence and not in his nature to act that way. She comments, “Given that, when he unexpectedly found her alone in the home with an 18-year-old man in the middle of the night, he was understandably concerned, as any brother would be about his sister. However, we don’t believe what followed happened the way it’s been described and we look forward to the opportunity to address that in court.”
