New Tests Reportedly Show Wendy Williams Does Not Have Dementia

Wendy Williams was first diagnosed back in 2023 with aphasia and dementia. It was made public in 2024 from her team. After seeing her mental and physical state deteriorating and outbursts of weird behavior, it made the diagnosis more tangible and present in her life. Showing the real effects that it did place in her life, and also in real time for the world to see when they were shooting her documentary, “Where is Wendy?” which documented her life an struggles she was facing. Not to mention the guardianship she is under, that does not seemed to have helped her in her state.

Now, through new testing from a neurological doctor in New York they have determined that she does not have dementia. With this her legal team is seeking to terminate the guardianship she is currently under. Wendy has expressed the frustration and anger she feels of the control that has taken place in her life. With this new finding due to her health, it will help her gain her independence again. In an interview with, “Newsnation’ she stated “I don’t have the freedom to do virtually anything… I’m ready to leave. I want my independence back. I want out of this guardianship. It’s suffocating. It’s very lonely.” This will surely put an end to this and have her freedom back.
