LA Clippers Abruptly Cut Ties With Chris Paul

Chris Paul who played on the LA Clippers is now saying goodbye. He began playing with them in 2011 after being traded from the New Orleans Hornets. The LA Clippers let him go in the middle of their five game trip, and he went on his Instagram story and he said he was no longer with the team. He wrote, “Just found out I’m being sent home”. As well, Lawrence Frank who is the president of the Clippers, “We are parting ways with Chris. He will no longer be with the team. We will work with him on his next steps”.

Reporter Ohm Youngmisuk, has reported on this move for Chris Paul to be traded, and they commented to make sure nobody blamed him for the performance of the team. It read as, “Chris is a legendary Clipper who had a historic career. I want to make one thing very clear. No one is blaming Chris for our underperformance. I accept responsibility for the record we have right now.There are a lot of reasons why we’ve struggled. We’re grateful for the impact Chris has made on the franchise.” Originally stating that he would retire the 21st season and signing a deal of 3.6 million dollars. He wanted to join the team easily, but the team is not doing so well and has the second worst record.
