Kodak Black is pushing back hard against the latest round of drug rumors. After months of speculation about alleged methamphetamine use, the rapper took to Instagram Live this week to set the record straight in his own words.
Kodak responds directly
“I eat good… high or not… I don’t be on no f**ing meth,”* Kodak said during the livestream.
While he admitted to experimenting in the past, the 27-year-old argued that traces of similar chemicals are found in many substances.
“There’s meth in every drug… For people who drink liquor, smoke weed; for those who partake in anything, y’all don’t know what’s in the ingredients,” he continued. “Mind your own business, for real for real… Y’all really just want to have something against me.”

The comments come after a series of viral moments that sparked public concern about Kodak’s health. It started with a freestyle on On The Radar, where he referenced a “young n**a with a meth habit.”* Shortly after, a video surfaced online appearing to show Kodak drinking lean while driving — fueling more speculation.
His attorney Bradford Cohen later denied the claims, telling fans the liquid was “just juice” and calling the meth talk “nonsense.”
Fame, scrutiny, and focus
Kodak has long been under a microscope. From legal issues to internet rumors, the Florida rapper says he’s tired of people twisting his story. While some fans express concern, others see the scrutiny as another example of how fame magnifies personal struggles.
Still, Kodak isn’t slowing down. He’s reportedly been in contact with Drake for a rumored collab titled “Skies Parted” on Drake’s upcoming ICEMAN album — a potential first-ever official release between the two.
Despite the noise, Kodak insists he’s focused on what matters most: the music.
