Back in May 2022, he made a video that he created, called ” Heart Part 5″. Using deep fake technology to turn into different cultural figures in the urban community and music industry. He made the video with Deep Voodoo studio who does videos for South Park. He mixed themes of fame, and the good and bad of being in the limelight and public perception of different public figures. It sparked a bit of dilemma as Jussie Smollett was used in the video and after his conviction of being accused of staging a fake homophobic and racial stint, he gained a bad name.
Jussie Smollett did not take offense to being featured in the video after an interview he commented on the video. He states, “I love Kendrick Lamar. What would be the reason for me to have an issue with him? We don’t know each other personally,” I don’t know what Kendrick meant by the video… So, I respect him as an artist, and that’s about as far as it can go.” He denied rumors of releasing any diss track against Kendrick Lamar. He is now focusing more on charity efforts.
