Jake Paul has always had a knack for making the headlines, and when he began his first firght against AnEsonGib in 2020, where he won by first round knock out. He first started his fandom from posting vines to one of the most known and highest paid youtubers. Jake Paul then went on to continue to his boxing career and proving to be a strong one. He fought boxers such as Nate Robinson, Ben Askren,Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz. The most recent one against Mike Tyson where he was victorious again.
The boxer’s next fight was suppose to be on Novmeber 14, and suddenly was canceled due to a lawsuit against his opponent, Gervonta Davis. Cancelled due to charges of domestic violence. Davis has run into issues before like having other legal battles such as arrests and assault claims. The decision to call of the fight comes from Jake Paul completely discouraged by his actions and feeling the need not to support or to participate in any type of match with Davis.
Jake Paul had some choice comments on the situation. He let the world know his feelings. Jape said, “Gervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage” and continued on to say, “I didn’t want to give this woman abuser a platform to grow his fans and to grow his bank account. My company champions women”. Jake clearly not wanting to continue to engage or fight Gervonta and go on due to differenes in their behaviors outside of the ring. Jake Paul still is ready and willing and waiting for his new fight, which is projected to be coming sometime before the end of the year.
