Gayle King has been a journalist for over 50 years. From starting a career in the 70’s as a production assistant at WJZ-Tv in Baltimore. She has become one of the most distinguishable and is a household name of journalism and widely known. Also, having a very close relationship with Oprah and being one of the best reporters and name one of Time’s Most Influential people, it is no wonder she has such a long lasting legacy.
Gayle King has now entered the spotlight in reference to her career at CBS This morning show career. Her contract at the network is said to be over in May of 2026. Amidst this Gayle had this to say in response to the rumors of her leaving her position, stating that “I like the job and the people that I work with,” she added, “I don’t know what to tell you.” With her defending and showing adoration for her career and time with CBS and counterparts and has no thought of leaving the network she has worked for since 2011. Gayle King has stated and shown that she does not plan to go anywhere from CBS at her anchor postion any time soon.
