Dame Dash is turning his ongoing feud with Cam’ron into a legal battle — and he wants a massive payout. The Harlem mogul has filed a $300 million defamation lawsuit against the Dipset rapper, accusing him of spreading false claims, damaging his reputation, and interfering with his business ventures.
According to a letter from Dame’s legal team, which he shared on Instagram and was later flagged by Ahmed/The Ears on Twitter, the lawsuit accuses Cam’ron of tarnishing both Dame and his partner Raquel Horn’s public image. It also claims Cam tried to cut Dame out of a cannabis deal, unlawfully took ownership and profits from the Dip Set Clothing Company, and even leaked confidential conversations with Roc-A-Fella Records, allegedly straining Dame’s relationship with Jay-Z.
Dame Dash also says Cam’ron went beyond business disputes, accusing him of harassment, attempting to reach out to his sons directly, and deliberately interfering with his companies.
The lawsuit seeks $300 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress, and loss of business opportunities. In addition, Dame is demanding a cease-and-desist, the removal of social media posts, a public apology, ownership rights in Dip Set Clothing and G5/Pink Mink Cannabis, and a full accounting of profits connected to those ventures.
The tension between Dame Dash and Cam’ron has been building for years, but this lawsuit takes their beef to new heights. Whether this ends in court or gets settled privately, the case could become one of the most high-profile business disputes in hip-hop history.
