Chris Blake Griffith continues to stir controversy surrounding his allegations against New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. On Wednesday night (Sept. 24), he joined DJ Akademiks’ livestream to further detail his claims and weigh in on the headlines tying Diggs, Cardi B, and JT together.
Griffith, who has previously accused Diggs of sexual assault after a night of partying, explained that he doesn’t blame Cardi B for defending her partner online.
“She jumps out there trying to defend her man, and I get it. It is what it is,” Griffith said during the stream. “At the end of the day, you got a number one album you’re promoting, you trying to be the Black version of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift… It is what it is. You gotta promote a project. I get it.”
From there, the conversation turned toward Diggs’ sexuality. Griffith alleged that Diggs is bisexual, which sparked several jokes from Akademiks. Griffith then doubled down on his original claims, recounting the night in question.
“We pulled up to the crib on the night out,” he said. “He talking to me about all the hoes he’s got in the crib. Mind you, he’s drugged up, whatever the case is, might’ve popped whatever.” Griffith and Akademiks then speculated on what substances Diggs may have allegedly used.
Fans React To The Stream
Reactions online have been divided. Some viewers believe Griffith is pushing the story too far, while others think there may be more to uncover.
“Let Chris keep talking, maybe he’ll eventually tell on himself.. All of this seems personal and nothing about the alleged sexual assault.. It’s giving he wanted Diggs and bitter at Cardi.. This seems obsessive and screams money grab,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another user criticized the livestream entirely: “Man we in wild times. We got two grown ass men.. discussing and gossiping about another man and who he f*cking.”
JT, Cardi B & The Reignited Beef
These latest comments from Griffith follow JT resurfacing his allegations as part of her ongoing feud with Cardi B. The City Girls rapper reposted a clip of Griffith’s earlier accusations, using it to fire shots at Cardi online.
The feud reignited last week with Cardi’s new album Am I The Drama? On the track “Magnet,” Cardi appears to question the sexuality of JT’s partner Lil Uzi Vert, delivering some of the album’s most talked-about lines.
She raps:
“All that dck ridin’, still ain’t get no feature-ass btch / She just mad she got a na she be sharin’ bags with / My na cheat, but I don’t stick no dildos in his ass, btch…”*
With both Griffith and JT inserting themselves into the drama, it seems the feud between Cardi B, Diggs, and the broader circle of rap personalities is far from cooling off.
