Cardi B is forcefully pushing back against allegations surrounding her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, saying his former personal chef never once told her she had been assaulted — and insisting the full truth will soon be revealed.
The Bronx rapper addressed the situation on X (formerly Twitter) after Diggs’ ex-chef accused the NFL star of hitting and choking her during a dispute over unpaid wages. Diggs has denied the claims but is currently facing felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges, with a court date scheduled later this month.
According to Cardi, the accuser had been in regular communication with her and never mentioned any physical harm. To support her claim, Cardi shared what she described as a recent text message from the woman and wrote, “Not once has that woman said anything to me about being touched.. NOT ONCE!! Mind you, we was talking every single day until she left that house and she JUST wrote me this.. but I’m gonna let the courts handle sh*t.”
Cardi didn’t stop there. In a follow-up post, she doubled down on her confidence that the accusations will not hold up, stating, “When it gets handled I want all yall talkin sht on your fckin knees with apologies just as loud the way yall been harassing over a lie… and I put that on my two month old son in the name of the lord!! That’s how confident I am.”
Responding to criticism online, Cardi also accused commenters of intentionally provoking controversy. “Why do yall do this?? It gotta be a study done on how yall like to gaslight and start sht then when you get a response try to tuck your fckin tail and claim everybody else obsessed when they been minding they business,” she added.
Shortly after posting, Cardi deleted her messages related to Diggs. The couple first sparked dating rumors in February 2025 after spending Valentine’s Day together and later confirmed their relationship with a courtside date at a New York Knicks playoff game. They welcomed their son in November.
As the case moves through the legal system, Cardi has made it clear she’s standing by Diggs — and believes the outcome will vindicate him.
