ASAP Rocky is being accused of using AI for a new video. The video his for his new song, “Helicopter” and he is denying this claim. This is his first release of this year, and it has animation with visuals shot. ASAP Rocky took to the internet to also post about the video and explain, posting ” THIS VIDEO IS NOT AI GENERATED! THIS VIDEO IS NOT AI GENERATED!“JUST GENERATIONAL.” Stating its authenticity and showing his known style for his creativeness. It is the track on his new album, ” Don’t Be Dumb”.
The video is more of a video game feel to it and shows rioting, and does have a nostalgic 90’s feel to it. From his other video, “Punk Rocky” which also features Winona Ryder, who he has collabed with Tim Burton before. It shows he is able to be an adaptive artist able to try new avenues and genres of music which is actually very catchy and a rock song. ASAP Rocky wanted to truly show his ingenuity with his videos using different forms of media and ideas to bring his idea to light.
