Amanda Seales is an esteemed actress, with roles such as Tiffany Dubois in popular show, “Insecure” and also being a co host of the talk show, “The Real”. At a recent UN meeting, she was called out for her behavior for a speech made about the current situation going on in Nigeria towards those who practice christianity. At the United Nations meeting, she spoke out against the violence that has occurred this past Tuesday. Being introduced by President Trump’s amabassador to the UN and as she spoke, she said, “No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion, like I recently stated on social media. And we don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.”
This was after President Trump made comments about the state of the country regarding the “mass slaughter” of christians by Islamists terrorists. The spokesperson of the president of Nigeria,Bayo Onanuga, has said that the actual issues lie within the Muslim religious community, countering all the allegations. That is when Amanda Seales took to social media to express this to the world to not be swayed by these false allegations. Even stating, that this could be part of. bigger propaganda for a different purpose to push a certain narrative for a reason. As well, even suggesting that she could be in trouble for unknowingly commenting and speaking on issues she had no real idea of.
