Aubrey O’ Day was once known for her vocal skills and being the lead that was picked from P. Diddy’s show, ” Making the Band”. She was known for sultry looks and high pitched vocals in the group, “Danity Kane”. After many years of having her own issues and mostly out of the public eye, she is in the middle of a storm. In a heart wrenching scene, Aubrey O’ Day is given a witness affidavit that she had never fully read before. It is clear that this had done damage before, had she been told about a court case her name was brought into but chose not to get involved at the time of her career and life.
Now, with years later and during the filming it was given for her to read fully. While reading about an eye witness who repeatedly states ” They are certain it is Aubrey O’ Day in the room she walked into being sexually assaulted”. It gives explicit details in the actual act and that she was never aware that this had happened back in 2005 involving P. Diddy and another affiliate. The former music star claims to never had to be a “drinker” so likely coming to the conclusion of drugs involved. As well, pointing out that while after reading the whole thing visibly shaken and not sure of the events or no recollection, she asks ““Does this mean I was raped? Is that what this means?”. It was a very hard and sad moment and it adds to the accounts of many made towards P. Diddy of the sexual acts performed while under the influence. Aubrey also goes on to read emails sent to her by P. Diddy himself where, he tries to insinuate her that he wants to engage sexually and have some sort of control over her. As she, ignored it and did not respond or do this she states she was fired six months later. This being one of most pivotal and painful moments in the documentary and left many wondering what had actually happened and also supporting showing why she chose to leave and hardships she faced while in the group and working P.Diddy as she has always stated.
