Max B is shutting down wild allegations linking him to the scuffle involving Ja Rule — making it clear he wants no part of the drama.
The rumor began circulating after blogger Tasha K claimed Ja Rule had been “jumped” outside New York’s Sei Less restaurant. She insisted the attack was serious and that more details were coming.
But Ja Rule immediately called cap.
“Tasha why you lying to these good ppl,” he wrote on X. “Yes some btch as n****s tried to jump me. No it wasn’t at Sei Less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me…”
Footage later surfaced from Live Bitez showing the altercation actually happened backstage at the Brandy & Monica “The Boy Is Mine” tour stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center — not outside a restaurant. Ja appears to be approached aggressively by multiple individuals before security steps in.
While Ja confirmed something went down, the rest of the story quickly spiraled, with random social media posts falsely claiming Max B’s crew had something to do with the altercation.
Max B Sets the Record Straight
Fresh out of prison and focused on rebuilding his life, Max B wasted no time addressing the rumors. Taking to Instagram, he shared a message of peace:
“Don’t tie me or my people to anything negative. We grown. We on positive vibes only.”
The Harlem legend made it clear he’s not entertaining negativity — and that he and his team had zero involvement in the Ja Rule situation.
Fans on social media attempted to clear the air as well, pointing out that Max B had reportedly been at the Brandy & Monica show for performance reasons, not any type of confrontation.
Tasha K Doubles Down
Despite Ja’s clarification and Max B’s denial, Tasha K continued pushing her narrative. She posted alleged texts from a friend, insisting her version of events was partly correct while admitting she misread the location.
“Now @jarule you know my team was there,” she wrote. “I was halfway sleep… I’m up now ready to spill some wine!”
