Antonio Brown is back in U.S. custody and facing serious legal trouble. The former NFL superstar has been arrested and extradited from Dubai, roughly six months after allegedly trying to shoot a man at a boxing event hosted by streamer Adin Ross in Florida.
According to TMZ Sports, 37-year-old Brown was transferred to federal agents this week, who escorted him from the United Arab Emirates to the New York Metropolitan Area before turning him over to local authorities. From there, he will be transported to South Florida, where the incident occurred in May.
Brown is expected to be booked at the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections and charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

The alleged victim, identified as Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, previously told TMZ that Brown became aggressive during the influencer boxing event and attempted to shoot him with a handgun. The shocking altercation reportedly took place backstage during the event, which was being streamed live at the time.
While Brown has denied the allegations, he claims the incident was a case of self-defense, insisting he was targeted by individuals who tried to “jump and rob” him.
The arrest marks the latest chapter in a long list of controversies for the former NFL wide receiver, whose career — once marked by elite talent and record-breaking performances — has been overshadowed by off-field scandals and erratic behavior.
Authorities say Brown was allegedly hiding out in Dubai to avoid extradition, but international cooperation between U.S. and UAE officials ultimately led to his capture and return.
No court date has been announced yet, but Brown could be facing decades in prison if convicted.
